About the studio:

Concreate is an all-inclusive experiential physical and digital reality design studio based in Chennai, India specialising in architecture + creative production, working at a juncture of creative design, cutting edge technology and sustainable habitat. We are a thriving design collective currently collaborating with few of the amazing companies, globally.

Key Responsibilities and Desired Skills:

• Create 3D models, visualizations, and animations for architectural projects.
• Work closely with the design and creative team to develop visual concepts and presentations
• Develop photo-realistic renders, walk-through animations and virtual reality experiences for clients
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills.
• Continuously stay up to date with the latest technology and industry trends.
• Developing and presenting project proposals.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Strong creative and visualization skills.
• An eye for detail.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D visualization, with a focus on architectural projects.
• Proficient in 3Ds Max and related tools such as V-Ray, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Knowledge in Unreal Engine is a bonus
• Portfolio showcasing relevant work is a must

This is a full-time and permanent opportunity for a minimum of 1 year.

Initial evaluation will be for 3 months and extension will be based on the performance.

• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline the architectural design and corresponding details.
• Make working drawings to share with the contractor and also at times clarify the contractor’s doubts.
• Create concept sketches and make to-scale models.
• Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets for the completion of the project.
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills.
• Develops specifications and prepares technical drawings, blueprints and related documents for permit acquisition and construction.
• Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.
• Developing and presenting project proposals.
• Conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact.
• Determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
• Strong creative and visualization skills.
• An eye for detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• 0-1 years of experience in architecture.
• Good Working Knowledge on Revit, Autocad, Sketchup is Mandatory.

• Create detailed 3D models that could be anything from environment, to character models, buildings, vehicles and props.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of technical art production and end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and rendering.
• Collaborating with animators and other artists for the successful completion of the project.
• Interpret briefs efficiently and pitch ideas to thoroughly execute the task.
• Utilize a combination of conventional and technological approaches to achieve top 3D Designs.
• Research relevant topics and reference points for ideas to use in your designs and upcoming projects.
• Create SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) that provide accurate details for other fellow artists to follow.
• Maintain a cool head under pressured circumstances and enjoy working on diverse projects.
• Work with the design team to fulfill its everyday tasks.
• Be a team player.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Good Working Knowledge of Blender, Maya, Zbrush and Substance Painter is mandatory.
• 1-5 years of professional experience working in a fast-paced 3D production environment.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing and rendering.
• Excellent communication, Presentation and Interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to work on Unity and Unreal Engine.
