Cinq is the residence we are designing and executing for our clients, Rani Planners in Chennai. The requirements of our clients was to create a bold yet minimal statement of their abode. The floor plan of the residence was intended to be free-spirited and flow into each other without the conventional differentiation of the spaces.
The scheme for the entire house can be monochromatic with a uniform sense of colour flowing within the spaces. These colours aren’t too bright and follow a very neutral palette .
Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Informal Living, Master Bedroom, Kids Bedroom, Bedroom and Studio.
The scheme of the house is divided into 4 parts following the earthy tones colour palette. The base colour of the entire house will remain neutral throughout with certain add on to colours on the walls.

We wanted to be sensible with the choice of materials and plastering for the residence. Rat-trap brick bond with natural lime plaster for the walls was our preference after the consideration of several factors including the sustainability aspects.
